Thompson Pipe Group is now the largest and most diverse drainage, sanitary, pressure, and trench-less pipe provider, with manufacturing locations across the country and serving not just the US but all North America.

Thompson Pipe Group is now looking for a Plant Manager who will provide direct supervision and leadership to the department staff to maintain a safe work environment while producing high-quality products in an efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Maintain a safe working environment and safe working practices in all plant operations
• Direct and manage day-to-day operations of the Concrete Precast Manufacturing Plant
• Maintains working relationships with all departments to ensure work objectives are met
• Develops plans to work towards improved performance and lower operating cost
• Provide performance feedback and mentorship to team members
• Ability to assist with daily operations based on department needs
• Maintain a culture of collaboration and engagement
• Able to work under pressure and with different departments
• Track inventories and develop production plans
• Production and department resource troubleshooting / problem-solving
• Ability to multi-task & perform other duties as assigned
• Ability to give & receive constructive feedback
• Ability to write standard operation procedures, (SOP's) and track and improve deliverable KPIs
• Manage daily + weekly planning schedules
• Manage site timekeeping
• Manage head count in assigned department
• Plans and budgets operations
• Work with Maintenance Department as needed for maintenance and repair of equipment
• Ensure daily preventative maintenance is completed and documented
• Understands the value of quality and ensures processes are in place to provide a quality product to our customers
