Your day as a Lineman 3rd Class

As a Full-Time Lineman 3rd Class at Blue Ridge Mountain EMC, your day-to-day expectations will keep you engaged and on your toes! You'll start each day by reviewing work orders and safety protocols, ensuring everything is set for a successful shift. Your tasks will include assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.

You'll work alongside seasoned team members, learning to handle tools and equipment safely and effectively. Expect to climb poles, troubleshoot electrical issues, and participate in routine inspections to keep our systems running smoothly. Communication is key, as you'll collaborate with other crew members to solve problems that arise on the job site.
