Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced clinical laboratory testing in areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond, following established protocols.
• Ensure accuracy in results, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all processes, provide training to new staff or students, and help maintain laboratory quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Continuous maintenance of certification during employment is required.
