We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer / Design - Entry to work on a 6 month contract.

This position will work as part of the Engineering Department.

The Mechanical Designer / Engineer will be performing a variety of design / drafting activities, including preparing / updating installation drawings for projects, preparing assembly / manufacturing drawings and doing stress analysis.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES

  • Prepare 3 dimensional drawings, installation drawings and illustration drawings (logo / header submittals).
  • Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes, in collaboration with sales and production office to ensure consistent documentation of the project.
  • Works with engineering and manufacturing on production which meet and exceed the customer's requirements.
  • Conduct stress analysis, FEA experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelor's degree in ME or MET.
  • Experience using Inventor or Solidworks or other 3D design software.
  • Exposure to AutoCAD 2D
  • Familiar with FEA and stress analysis.
