Collins Aerospace in Rockford IL site aids in assembling the Ram Air Turbines (RAT) used for aircraft emergency power generation. Our Ram Air Turbines have been used to save aircrafts and over 2600 lives.

What You Will Do

Must be able to complete documents in conjunction with the tasks and duties assigned.

Understands basic mathematics.

Must be able to write in a legible manner.

Works with some supervision but must show increasing knowledge and skill in performing assigned tasks.

Must demonstrate a cooperative efficient effort.

Must be able to learn to operate equipment necessary to carry out assigned job responsibilities.

2nd Shift 11am 7 : 00pm Monday Friday.

What You Will Learn

Verifying and keeping detailed records of incoming and outgoing shipments helps you develop strong organizational and data management skills.

Learning how to store materials properly including adding preservatives and identifying information ensures that you become proficient in maintaining inventory quality and organization.

Operating hand and power equipment such as fork lifts weigh scales and stretch wrappers provides you with hands-on experience in material handling and equipment operation.

Qualifications You Must Have

High School Diploma / GED

Experience using a forklift (sitdown / standup)

Qualifications We Prefer

Able to work with MS Windows.

Able to perform basic Math calculations.

Knowledge of SAP systems

Using RF Scanner

The salary range for this role is $24.47 - $31.09. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
