Job Type: Temp-to-HirePosition OverviewPeople Source OKC is hiring an experienced CNC Programmer & Operator for a manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC and manual machine tools to produce precision metal parts, tools, and components. The ideal candidate has strong blueprint-reading skills and experience working with tight tolerances.Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and sample parts
• Program CNC machines according to job specifications
• Set up, operate, and disassemble CNC and manual machines
• Align, secure, and adjust cutting tools and workpieces
• Monitor feed rates and spindle speeds during operation
• Turn, mill, drill, shape, and grind parts to required specifications
• Measure, inspect, and test finished products for defects
• Make adjustments or modifications as needed to meet quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Tool & Die Responsibilities (as applicable)

• Compute and verify dimensions, tolerances, and specifications
• Set up and operate conventional and manual machine tools
• File, grind, and adjust components for proper fit
• Test completed tools and dies to ensure compliance
• Smooth and polish surfaces as required

Requirements

• Experience as a CNC Programmer and Operator
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
