divh2Claims Adjuster Crop/h2pIn this role you will respond to crop claims by completing field inspections, communicating with involved parties, performing investigations, determining appropriate adjustments and administering insurance policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations./ppLocation: Work Remotely in Wisconsin, USA/ppWork Arrangement: This role is fully remote; approximately 20% home office work and 80% field work./ppThe starting salary range for this role is between $53,000-$79,000./ppYour New Role:/ppComplete field inspections, reviews and adjustments by reading maps and aerial photos, measuring fields and storage bins, and appropriately administering company crop insurance policies/ppEnsure compliant and cost effective application of crop policies by leveraging knowledge of basic insurance statutes and regulations and complying with state and federal regulatory requirements/ppBuild and maintain relationships with customers by providing timely and accurate policy service, answering questions and communicating adjustment determinations/ppAccurately document, process and transmit loss information in order to determine potential damages/ppSupport business objectives by participating in quality control tasks, audits, risk assessments and field reviews/ppContribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value can do people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun/ppRequired Education:/ppHigh School Diploma/GED/ppRequired Experience:/pp1 year relevant experience/ppRequired Licenses/Certifications:/ppMust possess a valid Drivers License/ppPreferred Qualifications:/ppTertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience./ppRequired Work Experience:/ppSome relevant work experience./ppPreferred Competencies/Skills:/ppEffective verbal and written communication skills/ppWork effectively under pressure; able to comply with tight deadlines/ppCollaborate with internal staff and external customers/ppUse relevant information and individual judgment to comply with organizational and legal regulations/ppEstablish and maintain effective, trusting and respectful relationships with others/ppComplete tasks attentively and thoroughly/ppHigh attention to detail/ppWork independently with little to supervision/ppCommunicate outside the organization and share information as a positive aid to achieve best practices and objectives/ppPreferred Education:/ppAssociates Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience/ppPreferred Experience:/ppExperience with agriculture and/or farming/ppPreferred Licenses/Certifications:/ppCrop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP)/ppPreferred Knowledge:/ppApplied knowledge of agriculture and crop farming/ppWorking knowledge of crop insurance regulations, policies, procedures and best practices/ppWorking knowledge of investigative techniques and legal research methodologies/ppBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/ppCompensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the roles complexity, its location, and the candidates professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBEs annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
