Our client is seeking experienced Electrical / Controls Maintenance Technicians to support 2nd or 3rd shift operations. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and improving automation systems, CNC equipment, robotics, and electrical controls used in high‑volume manufacturing.
You'll work closely with production, engineering, and controls teams to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement across the plant.

Responsibilities :
Automation & Controls Support
- Support and maintain Allen Bradley and Fanuc control systems.
- Assist with design, development, and launch of new automation equipment.
- Perform control modifications, upgrades, and continuous improvement activities.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, controls, and automation issues on production equipment.
Equipment Maintenance
Research and source replacement parts as needed.Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and robotic systems.Support CNC mills, conveyors, automated machinery, and robotic cells.Perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance per work orders.Technical Documentation
Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation accurately.Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and safety documentation.Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Support engineering and maintenance teams during equipment launches and upgrades.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.Communicate repair status to Controls Coordinator, Production Supervisors, and Operators.Qualifications / Must Haves :
Strong communication skills and a safety‑focused work ethic.Ability to work 3rd shift and overtime / weekends as needed.Hands‑on experience with Allen Bradley and / or Fanuc control systems.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.Associate or Bachelor's degree in Automated Manufacturing, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering Technology, or equivalent work experience.2+ years of experience in manufacturing process controls or electrical / automation maintenance.Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Working knowledge of hardware, operating systems, and industrial automation equipment.Preferred Skills :
Exposure to CMMS systems for maintenance tracking.Knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949, or ISO14001 environments.Experience in automotive or large‑scale manufacturing environments.Familiarity with CNC automation, robotics, and PLC troubleshooting.
