Billing Analyst

This position will report to the OTC Manager Financial Analytics. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that proper billing procedures are effectively enforced. We are looking for a meticulous individual who will take full ownership of the billing process. The successful candidate will have experience working in a shared services environment with third-party service providers who support the Billing, Invoicing and Master Data processes. The position will support multiple plant sites and ensure timely communication with sales and operations on the status of unbilled transactions. They will also partner with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Customer Service, Sales, and the third-party service provider to drive the resolution of incomplete or incorrect billing for pricing issues, credit - debit adjustments and other actions as required.  The candidate should display a positive and initiative-taking attitude, possess strong organizational skills, demonstrate an ability to prioritize, and multitask and be a strong communicator, and always provide best in class internal and external customer service. This position will be in the Sandy Springs, Georgia office.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure all customer billing is accurate and processed in a timely manner.
• Resolve billing delays and billing corrections.
• Investigating root cause billing issues and coordinate with proper stakeholders to propose and implement solutions.
• Monitor third-party service provider uploads into customer invoicing portals and resolves issues on failed items.
• Assist in gathering documents related to billing data (PODs, POs, Invoice copies, etc.) and route to proper owners of the information when unavailable.
• Demonstrate a positive working relationship within the Billing and Accounts Receivable team, as well as other departments, to accomplish the goals and objectives of the company.
• Provide excellent customer experience regarding billing & corrections issues.
• Demonstrate sound judgment that is within authority when working on client accounts.
• Meet defined individual and department goals and key performance indicators.
• Other duties as assigned.
