The Field Construction Manager will play a key role in ensuring project success through strong leadership, field oversight, coordination, and client communication. / ppKey Responsibilities : / pulliLead all phases of on-site construction for environmental land repurposing projects, including grading, trenching, foundations, access roads, and utility interconnections. / liliCoordinate civil work activities such as earthwork, drainage, erosion control, road development. / liliManage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with jurisdictional / district standards, contract documents, and industry best practices. / liliEnsures environmental regulations, OSHA safety requirements, and health and safety protocols are maintained. / liliReview and manage construction schedules, cost forecasts. / liliCoordinate closely with clients project teams, third-party engineers, inspectors, and permitting agencies to resolve field issues and ensure seamless project delivery. / liliConduct routine site inspections, lead construction progress meetings, and produce detailed daily / weekly reports. / liliReview and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists to maintain construction documentation in compliance with clients expectations. / liliSupport project commissioning, energization, and closeout efforts in collaboration with jurisdictional operations teams. / liliAssists in preparation of presentation materials for project and schedule updates. / liliMentor construction staff and help build internal capacity for future large-scale projects execution. / li / ulpQualifications : / pulliBachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent field experience. / liliMinimum of 6 years of construction management experience, beneficial skill sets would include civil infrastructure projects. / liliDemonstrated experience with site development and large-scale earthwork projects. / liliWorking knowledge of civil drawings, topographic surveys, and grading plans. / liliPrior experience working in the energy market is highly preferred. / liliExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. / li / ulpMove Forward with Kleinfelder : Kleinfelder and its subsidiaries and affiliates, has been connecting great people to the best work since 1961.
