[job_card.job_description]Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with the company quality assurance policies and customer specifications. Conduct in-process, incoming, first piece, and / or final inspections, ensuring that all products have been tested and fall within standards, measured to specifications and within tolerances. Perform accurate mechanical, physical, and visual inspection of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies as per Inspection Plans and Specification Requirements. Ensure calibration and maintenance is performed on inspection equipment. Document and report inspection findings and results and monitor corrective actions to inspection findings. Document information on the computer in various databases and other internal programs; logs the assembly non-conformities and initiates / generates Non-Conformance Reports as required. File incoming component Device History Records. Read and interpret specifications and part prints. Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions. Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned Must display very strong attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T is required Proficiency with the use of measuring tools and gauges is required Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and team-oriented work environment Proficient in math and algebra, and in making arithmetical calculations Working knowledge of GMP, FDA and Medical Device Handling Practices High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience with quality inspection and / or precision measurement is preferred, as is prior work experience in an ISO work environment
