About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in North Dakota!

📅  October, November, December 2025 | 24-Hour Call Coverage Only

🏥 Facility Overview :

Seeking  OBGYN call coverage for 7 days / month to support the team during a maternity leave. This is a high-impact, low-volume locums opportunity with strong clinical support and a predictable case mix.

📍 Location :

Dickinson, North Dakota

Community-based hospital

Easy access to Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the Badlands

Travel and lodging provided

✅ Position Details :

Call Only : 24-hour shifts (in-house not required)

Schedule : 7 total 24-hour call shifts / month

Holiday Coverage : Potentially needed; paid at premium rate

Call Duties Include :

Vaginal deliveries

C-sections (stat and scheduled)

OB & GYN emergencies presenting through ER

GYN procedures (D&C, laparoscopy, ectopic)

👩‍⚕️ Practice Support :

Labor & Delivery Nurses

Level II Nursery

Family Medicine with OB

Surgical techs & rotating C-section assist coverage

Meditech EMR

✳️ Case Volume :

~600 deliveries per year

Avg 1.6 deliveries / admissions per day

🔒 Requirements :

Board Certified OBGYN (preferred)

ND License required by October 1 (IMLC accepted)

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA, NRP

Clean malpractice history preferred

Availability for all 3 months (Oct-Dec) — 7 days / month
