[job_card.job_description]Monitor compliance to applicable building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Conduct quality inspections and ensure adherence to design specifications Maintain organized documentation for regulatory compliance and project records Provide technical support for project execution and problem resolution Assist in creating and maintaining project budgets and cost tracking Support preparation of submittals, RFIs, and progress reports on a timely basis to ensure pre-production planning is completed accurately and in full Identify opportunities to streamline project processes and improve efficiency Assist with digital filing systems and project documentation management Shadow senior team members to develop advanced technical and project management skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred 0-3 years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or project management Familiarity with modular construction processes is a plus Proficiency in project management software and scheduling tools Strong understanding of building codes and construction standards Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Project and Excel Knowledge of CAD software and construction drawings preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Problem-solving mindset with ability to work under pressure Commitment to safety and quality standards Strong self-starter to identify risks and solve problems proactively and quickly Primary Location : Onsite at Vallejo, CA headquarters with frequent visits to production floor Standard business hours with flexibility during project deadlines Occasional travel to project sites may be required

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to join our project management team in the fast-growing modular construction industry. This role is critical in supporting project execution, ensuring compliance, and maintaining quality standards across our manufacturing operations. You'll work closely with production, quality assurance, and project management teams to deliver efficient and compliant modular housing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules for modular housing projects
- Coordinate project timelines with production schedules and delivery requirements
- Track project milestones and communicate progress to project managers and stakeholders
