Combat Medic Specialist

ABOUT THIS POSITION

• THIS ROLE REQUIRES ENLISTMENT IN THE U.S. ARMY OR ARMY RESERVE

As a Combat Medic Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing emergency medical care during both combat and humanitarian missions. Your extensive training will enable you to act as a first responder, effectively triaging illnesses and injuries with the aim of saving lives, similar to a paramedic in civilian settings. You'll also have the opportunity to teach fellow Soldiers lifesaving techniques and provide essential care on base during non-deployment periods.

In this role, you will acquire skills in Emergency Medical Care, Patient Care Instructing & Training, with the possibility of obtaining up to 102 nationally recognized certifications!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide emergency medical treatment to injured personnel on the battlefield
• Assist in both outpatient and inpatient medical care
• Train Soldiers in Combat Lifesaver and First Responder techniques
• Manage medical readiness and oversee medical supplies and equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of 10 weeks of Basic Training
• Completion of 16 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Age between 17 to 34 Years
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Adhere to Tattoo Guidelines
• No Major Law Violations
• No disqualifying medical conditions
