They will work to ensure the provision of quality care for surgical patients through the utilization of the nursing process and established standards of care, policies, and procedures. The perioperative nurse acts as the patient advocate. The RN is responsible for the direction and supervision of any personnel assigned to them. This position reports to the Unit Nurse Manager, House Supervisor, or RN Team Leader. This position does not include call responsibilities. Holiday coverage is required.
