CENTRAL TITLE DIVISION

Job Description :

The Disbursement Clerk will assist in the processing of payments and collection of lien waivers for construction projects disbursed by Old Republic.

This position requires daily in-office attendance in the St Louis, MO office. Not open to remote applicants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Set up new projects in our proprietary computer system.
Submit requests for funds for disbursing projects.
Notify payees of pending payments and the posting of payments for various construction projects.
Process mail and release payments.
Assist customers with questions regarding the payment process.
Direct contact with customers, payees, and lenders including answering phones, emails and assisting in office.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge and Skills Required :

Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Ability to work in fast paced environment while successfully performing under extreme time constraints and meet prescribed deadlines.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects.

Ability to work with confidential information.

Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday is required.

Ability to act independently with sound judgment and take initiative.

Written and verbal communications are clear, grammatically correct and business appropriate.

Actively listens. Is mindful of how body language, gestures and nonverbal communications are perceived.

Ability to work 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm Monday through Friday.

Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships.

Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor when needed.

Physical / Mental Demands :

Repetitive and continual keyboard activity and interaction with display monitors is required.

Sedentary work : The majority of activity in this position involves sedentary work including sitting, standing, walking and the occasional need to lift or move objects.
