Campus Apartments is seeking to hire an Analyst to join its Portfolio Analytics & Reporting team. The Analytics team works primarily with Asset Management, but also works closely with virtually every other area of the organization as investments and projects arise. Consequently, this is a tremendous opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure to private real estate investment.
The Analyst will be joining a fast-paced and growing team. As a result, there will be lots of opportunity for the Analyst to make an immediate impact with meaningful contributions of their own. This position will be highly visible to members of the senior executive leadership team.
Assist and/or independently work on the following reporting responsibilities:
Assist and/or independently work on all phases of the budgeting process for current assets and newly acquired/developed assets.
Financial Modeling: participate in the development and maintenance of asset-level financial models and analyses, including discounted cash flows, waterfall modeling, IRR analysis, NPV analysis, scenario analysis, etc.
Site-level support: develop and support bespoke solutions for site-level operations and data management as needed.
Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in Real Estate and exceptional raw technical ability.
Highly motivated self-starter with an extraordinary work ethic and a desire to learn new skills.
Strong attention to detail with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and independently.
1-2 years of experience in related field. Internship and/or co-op experience count.
Financial modeling experience a plus.
Experience writing VBA scripts for Excel, PowerShell, Python, SQL, R, and/or a strong desire to learn.
Bachelor's degree in related field.
