OTR Dispatcher

KAVKAZ Express LLCis looking for anexperiencedand highly driven team player to join our Logistics Department as an OTR Dispatcher.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Review assignments/tenders
• Post loads on DAT/Truckstop
• Negotiate the best price with Brokers
• Build relationship with assigned and new Brokers
• Ensure loads are picked up and delivered on time
• Follow-up on trucks location, pick up/delivery statuses and temperatures
• Communicate with customers reps throughout the load transit
• Communicate with drivers via phone and text to relay information and confirm the reception of information
• Communicate with brokers to let them know all pertinent information regarding the delivery of their load (including driver name, phone number, any issues with delivery)
• Record and maintain files of pick-up/delivery information, communications with brokers, truck breakdowns, expenses, and proofs of deliveries

Skills and Experience:

• Must have 2+ years OTR DISPATCHING experience
• Logistics/Account Management Experience is required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent computer skills
• Excellent communication, leadership skills and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in fast and dynamic environment
• Strong work ethic
• Must speak English fluently

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Talking, hearing, and lifting up to 15 pounds
