Security Officer - Aerospace Patrols

As a Part-Time Security Officer in Mukilteo, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with individuals on site, and provide excellent customer service and communication. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $22.16 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thursday : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Friday : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance as needed.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site-specific protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment within the aerospace and defense setting.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
