Position: RN Weekend Supervisor
Location: West Orange, NJ
Schedule: Part-Time | Doubles every other weekend (7:00 AM–3:00 PM & 3:00 PM–11:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $50.00/hour

Acacia Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Weekend Supervisor to lead our nursing team and ensure exceptional resident care. This leadership opportunity is perfect for a motivated RN who enjoys mentoring staff, maintaining clinical excellence, and making a meaningful impact—every weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Director and Associate Director of Nursing with planning, developing, and directing daily nursing operations in compliance with state regulations and facility policies

• Supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care and adherence to assigned responsibilities

• Participate in state surveys, audits, and inspections as needed

• Review, contribute to, and oversee resident care plans and discharge planning

• Ensure appropriate staffing coverage for all assigned shifts

• Conduct daily rounds to monitor staff performance and report findings to leadership

• Address staff concerns and escalate complaints or grievances appropriately

• Welcome and support newly admitted residents, including escorting them to their rooms

• Accompany physicians during rounds when required

• Oversee medication administration and treatments for accuracy and timeliness

• Provide direct nursing care when necessary

• Perform comprehensive resident assessments

• Participate in performance evaluations for LPNs and CNAs

• Complete additional duties as assigned to support quality care and facility operations

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university

• Active and valid RN license in the state of New Jersey

• Minimum 2 years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings

• At least 1 year of nursing management or supervisory experience

• Current CPR certification
