Job Summary :

The Physical Therapist provides high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services with minimal supervision. This includes evaluating and treating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, supervising therapy assistants and aides, and documenting medical necessity and progress. The role ensures compliance with regulatory standards and contributes to a collaborative, patient-focused care environment.

Description (Key Highlights) :

Deliver patient-centered physical therapy services independently

Develop and implement treatment plans based on evaluations

Supervise therapy assistants and aides to ensure quality care

Maintain accurate, timely documentation of treatment and outcomes

Adhere to current state laws and regulatory standards

Participate in continuing education and maintain active licensure

Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively

Meet productivity goals and contribute to clinical development

Requirements :

Strong leadership and team collaboration skills

Effective communication (oral and written)

Excellent time management and organizational ability

Problem-solving and critical thinking in clinical settings

Proficiency with clinical documentation software and standard office tools

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift 50 pounds using proper technique

Continuous ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach

Adequate vision and hearing to perform clinical assessments and communicate

Ability to push equipment and perform fine motor tasks as needed

Credentials :

Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program

Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist

Current CPR certification

Completion of OSHA and Medicare compliance training

Completion of state-mandated continuing education for license renewal
