Overview :

Were seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to partner with the Executive Chef in leading a high-volume, scratch kitchen. This role is responsible for back-of-house operations, food quality, butchering oversight, and team development . The Sous Chef provides direction and training to the kitchen team while maintaining high standards of excellence, organization, and hospitality.

What Youll Do :

  • Support the Executive Chef in all areas of responsibility
  • Lead back-of-house team members, daily operations, and food production
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and feedback to develop team members
  • Manage ordering of produce, seafood, and food supplies
  • Conduct bi-weekly inventory with accuracy and accountability
  • Write and manage back-of-house schedules to staffing goals
  • Recruit, interview, and hire team members as needed
  • Supervise and participate in butchering and portion control on each shift
  • Create a positive kitchen culture focused on quality, cleanliness, and teamwork

    • What Were Looking For :

  • Minimum 2 years in a management role within a high-volume, full-service restaurant
  • Experience in operations with $4M+ annual sales volume
  • Strong butchering and scratch kitchen experience required
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Calm, organized, and composed under pressure
  • Passionate about hospitality and committed to the industry
  • Professional appearance, reliability, and self-motivation
