Job Description

Local flatbed driver(s) wanted to haul steel coils to and from Macedonia OH.

Pay is 35% of haul.  Average yearly pay is around 76K but motivated drivers can make much more!

Drivers Home Every Night!

Job Duties :

  • Secure and transport steel coils while adhering to dispatch and loading procedures.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and Company safety policies and procedures regarding all aspects of the job.
  • Comply with all DOT Drug and Alcohol testing requirements.
  • Keep CDL and Medical certification up to date.
  • Complete training as required or requested.
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection reports.
  • Report all mechanical issues to the truck maintenance supervisor.
  • Take truck / trailer for repair if needed.
  • Comply with logging requirements using electronic logging device.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary.

    • Job Requirements :

  • Possess a valid CDL.
  • 2 years verifiable recent CDL A experience.
  • MVR record must meet minimum standards.
  • Current DOT medical card certification.
  • Can speak and read the English language to be able to converse with the general public, respond to official inquiries, read highway signs and signals, and make entries on reports.
  • Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse if not already registered.
  • Applicant must be able to work in all forms of inclement weather-rain, snow, heat, etc.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • No drug / alcohol felonies in the last 5 years.
  • Is 25 years old to meet insurance requirements. (Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the insurance company.)

    • Salary / Compensation : $76,000 per year
