Job Summary
This position provides a wide variety of clerical and administrative support to staff of the assigned department and / or management. It includes secretarial duties such as answering telephones, preparing correspondence, maintaining office supplies, file / record maintenance, and making appointments under general supervision.
Job Duties
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and memos; compose, type and proof correspondence, reports and forms.
- Balance cash drawers, post ledgers, and resolve overages or shortages.
- Manage accounts receivables, track payments and handle invoicing.
- Answer telephone inquiries, screen or transfer calls, take messages, and respond to routine mail inquiries.
- Maintain office filing systems and update records or databases, including confidential information as needed.
- Support departmental staff with tasks related to facilities, employee HR, Kronos timekeeping, supplies, safety, and other administrative duties.
- Monitor office equipment and inventory, place supply orders as necessary.
- Facilitate communication among office staff, field representatives, vendors, or members / customers; in member?facing units, provide member service functions such as reception and call handling.
Qualifications
High School or GED.46 years of office administration experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); additional skills in MS Project and Publisher desirable.General knowledge of ACSC computer programs preferred.Moderate skill using general office equipment.Good verbal, telephone, and written communication skills.Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi?task while maintaining accuracy.Additional business?unit specific knowledge, skills or competencies may apply.Travel Requirements
Occasional travel to off?site business meetings or conferences (up to 5%).Compensation
Starting pay range : $22.69$30.22 per hour. Full?time employees are eligible for an incentive program based on organizational, team and personal performance.
