Position Description :

  • Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery
  • Lead cross-functional decisions with OEM & Supplier leadership to drive resolution of open issues.
  • Implement actions to ensure zero vehicle losses from suppliers
  • Principal for on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations
  • Lead adherence to OES standards
  • Drive assessment & validation of manufacturing feasibility at identified supplier sites
  • Execute the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Quality Planning Process (APQP)
  • Use available data, metrics, and business plans to drive future sourcing decisions ensuring improved future quality
  • Implement commodity-specific business plans to ensure your suppliers exceed all corporate launch, quality, capacity, warranty metrics, and vehicle delivery
  • Lead on-site troubleshooting and corrective actions for emergency supplier situations

Requirements

Skills Required :

APQP, Quality Management, Problem Solving, PPAP processes

Experience Required :

  • 5+ years' experience in one or more, but not limited to the following manufacturing process :
  • Casting, Machining, Forging, Stamping, Welding, Plastic / Rubber Molding, Brazing, Sintering, Automated / Manual Assembly Processes, Controls Automation programming, Paint, Chroming, SMC

    • Education Required : Bachelor's Degree
