Workforce Development Technical Program Manager

Position Overview : Drive strategic workforce development initiatives to attract develop and preserve technical capabilities and ensure talent pipeline readiness for current and future technology needs across Western Digitals global operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Program Leadership - Design and execute technical workforce development programs aligned with business strategy and emerging technology roadmaps
• Skills Assessment & Gap Analysis Using both Ai and traditional tools conduct workforce capability assessments and identify critical skill gaps across technical organizations
• Curriculum Development - Partner with functional teams to create technical training curricula for current and emerging technologies (AI / ML advanced manufacturing processes)
• Cross-functional Collaboration - Work with Operations HR Engineering Product Development and IT to align workforce development with operational needs
• Result Oriented Execution : Drive Success Metrics & Analytics - Track program effectiveness through assessments retention rates and business impact metrics
• Talent Pipeline Management - Establish partnerships with community colleges universities trade schools and workforce boards to build sustainable talent pipelines
• Benchmarking Benchmark industry best practices and emerging technologies and drive internal adoptions to ensure WDs programs are best in class

Compensation & Benefits Details

You will be eligible to be considered for bonuses under  either Western Digitals Short Term Incentive Plan (STI Plan) or the Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance depending on your role and your performance. You may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan. Please note that not all roles are eligible to participate in the LTI program and not all roles are eligible for equity under the LTI plan. RSU awards are also available to eligible new hires subject to Western Digitals Standard Terms and Conditions for Restricted Stock Unit Awards.
