Behavioral Health Academic Neurologist

Physician provides assessment, management and outcome evaluation for patients outpatient settings. Educates patients, families and staff.

The Department of Neurology at the University of Louisville/University of Louisville Health System, in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking applications for a BC/BE fellowship trained behavioral academic neurologist to join our faculty. This position will see patients in the both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Position includes predominantly outpatient care duties, with inpatient general neurology service required approximately eight weeks per year.
• Candidate would join a well-established clinical practice with experienced clinical support outpatient staff and a multi-disciplinary care team
• Part of the UL Health Brain and Spine Institute, a growing and collaborative neuroscience service line

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Board certified/board eligible by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• Eligible to be state licensed in the United States
• US residency or fellowship training
• Outstanding communication, bedside manner, and professionalism; excellent organizational skills
• A strong work ethic and capability for effective collaboration in the multi-disciplinary care of patients
