  • What You'll Do :
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address situations appropriately.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and other emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to varying working environments and conditions based on the needs of the government site.
  • Minimum Requirements :
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
