Job Overview

The Investment Consultant position offers advanced investment education and guidance for clients with investable assets ranging from $25,000 to $250,000, who may require various financial products. With access to a comprehensive product suite and a light Financial Planning tool, you will engage with existing clients following a defined service model, while collaborating with internal partners to identify and pursue investment opportunities. This role is appointment-based, encompassing the financial discovery process for internal team partners, where making appropriate referrals is essential.

Your strong analytical skills will allow you to assess client needs, fostering personalized financial relationships across a diverse client base. This results in ongoing conversations and opportunities for additional financial services. You will also demonstrate strong communication and time management abilities to address client financial needs and work with partners to enhance the quality and volume of referrals in your territory. Collaborating effectively with peers, you will seek and provide feedback to improve the client experience and build long-term relationships in a team-oriented environment. Completing mandatory Annual Reviews for clients in your designated region will be part of your responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in financial services or investments.
• A minimum of one to two years of experience in a financial sales role is preferred.
• FINRA Series 7 and either Series 63 and 65 or Series 66; partially licensed applicants may be considered.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location. The actual range for this role may differ based on location. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a robust benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, 401(k) contributions, and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range : $71,400.00 - $84,000.00.
