Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies to support them in reaching their functional objectives
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and capabilities in daily life activities
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic care
  • Educate Patients and Family Members: Provide insightful instruction to patients and their caregivers on effective therapy methods to foster continued improvement at home
  • Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor treatment outcomes and modify action plans as necessary, ensuring that patients remain on their path to success
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
  • Ongoing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
