In this position...
Global Asset Management handles the disposition and selling of company assets to adhere to cooperate policies and procedures to ensure compliance to the Finance Manual and Environmental policies.
This position involves handling the disposition and removal of all company assets across North America. It requires working directly with Manufacturing, decommissioning, suppliers and engineering teams to align on the removal of equipment, tooling, racks and structural demolition aligning with these teams to meet timing goals for future use.
A scrap coordinator will utilize established processes and procedures for the competitive bidding process to maximize the revenue of assets without reuse or resale potential and define cost effective methods of removal to avoid costs while overseeing its removal.
Work with team members from US, Mexico and India to align on scrap related projects to lead in the removal of the assets meeting the requirements of the Finance Manual and Purchasing Procedures.
You'll have...
A Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent
3+ years of experience in a similar position
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, OneDrive, Sharepoint and DocuSign
Working knowledge of the Finance Manual

Experience in working directly with Ford trades and/or contractors in a Ford union environment
Strong organizational skills

This position is a salary grade 5 - 8 and ranges from $63,480-162,120.
