Role Overview
This role supports a financial systems modernization initiative and requires an experienced senior developer to provide full lifecycle application development, troubleshooting, and modernization of enterprise applications. The position involves collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and resolve service desk tickets and incoming requests

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis

• Research and document business processes and technical assets

• Provide customer support and assist with business case development

• Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing

• Lead development efforts on cross-functional application projects

• Ensure adherence to architectural standards, code quality, and performance requirements

• Drive technical initiatives in alignment with enterprise strategy

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years as a lead developer

• 8+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET/MVC, WCF/WebAPI

• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases

• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Knockout, etc.)

• Experience with REST, XML, JSON, HTML, Python, and CSS

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts

Preferred Skills

• Experience converting legacy technologies (DB2, COBOL, CA-GEN, FOCUS) to modern platforms

• Experience with cloud-based architectures (PaaS/IaaS), including Microsoft Azure

• Experience with DB2 and SQL Server RDBMS

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
