We are seeking a qualified, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. This role is essential to delivering high-quality care and creating a welcoming, efficient experience for our patients. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly preferred, as a large portion of our patient population is Spanish-speaking. The ideal candidate is organized, works well in a team, takes feedback well, and is committed to maintaining a smooth and professional clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients into the treatment area and help them feel comfortable and at ease
- Assist the dentist during exams and procedures efficiently and attentively
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are sterilized and ready
- Explain treatment plans and post-care instructions clearly, answering patient questions as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to all health, safety, and infection control protocols
- Support scheduling and administrative tasks as needed to keep the office running smoothly
- Communicate effectively with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Strong communication and patient service skills
- Ability to stay organized, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable receiving feedback and working collaboratively as part of a team
