Job Description

Job Responsibilities :

  • Review and proofread various documents including reports proposals and presentations to ensure accuracy and clarity
  • Correct grammar punctuation and spelling errors in the content
  • Ensure consistency in style formatting and language usage
  • Collaborate with writers and content creators to make necessary revisions
  • Verify facts and data sources
  • Adhere to company guidelines and industry standards for quality assurance

Essential Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in English Communications Journalism or a related field
  • Proven experience as a proofreader or editor
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent grammar skills
  • Proficiency in using proofreading tools and software
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines

    • Desired Experience :

  • 1-2 years of experience in proofreading or editing roles
  • Experience working in the IT or government contracting industry is a plus

    • Salary & Benefits :

    Salary : $50000 - $60000 per year
