About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with MEDSCoders to find a qualified Vascular Tech in Dunn, North Carolina, 28334!

Perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations, including :

Arterial and venous Doppler studies

Carotid duplex

ABI, PVR, and segmental pressure studies

Venous reflux studies

Aortic / AAA screening

Renal artery, mesenteric, and peripheral vascular studies

Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures , such as :

Varicose vein ablations

Thrombin injections

Dialysis access evaluations

Prepare and maintain ultrasound equipment, exam rooms, and patient records.

Review and evaluate images for clarity, completeness, and diagnostic accuracy.

Collaborate with vascular surgeons, radiologists, and clinical staff for coordinated patient care.

Ensure patient comfort, safety, and education throughout the diagnostic process.

Maintain compliance with all clinical protocols and quality standards.

Requirements

RDMS RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or CCI RVS certification required.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field preferred.

Minimum 1–2 years experience performing vascular ultrasound exams (preferred).

Strong understanding of vascular anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols.

Excellent communication, patient care, and documentation skills.
