EHS Musical: Grease Choreographer

Description: Everett High School is seeking an experienced choreographer/dancer to choreograph the spring 2026 musical Grease.

Requirements:

• Eligibility to work with youth
• Positive Outcome of CORI SORI and DCF background checks (non-EPS employees)
• Ability to work according to the rehearsal schedule

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelors in Dance or Dance Education preferred.
• Current EPS Teacher or Staff.
• Proven experience as a choreographer.
• Familiarity with dance styles of the 1950s
• Ability to communicate effectively with students teachers parents and administrators.
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence equity and professionalism.
• Uphold high expectations for all students with an emphasis on building personal strengths in the teaching/learning process that the student body demands.
• Willingness to collaborate with the Director and fellow production staff
• Prior experience with ELL students in an urban setting is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading writing and speaking in another language in addition to English.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and facilitate dance rehearsals in coordination with the directors production schedule.
• Attend all scheduled rehearsals as scheduled.
• Maintain great communication skills and the ability to foster positive professional relationships with students and teachers.
• Maintain a culturally responsive approach to communication with staff students and families as needed.
• Creates and maintains a safe supportive and inclusive environment by establishing dance rehearsal routines and systems to support student learning.

Salary:

This position pays a $2000 stipend.
