We are hiring on behalf of our client, an award-winning interior design firm based in Philadelphia, known for its thoughtful, research-driven approach and a diverse portfolio spanning historic restoration, new classical interiors, and contemporary work. This is an opportunity to join a close-knit, highly collaborative studio that values creativity, curiosity, and craftsmanship in equal measure.

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a key role in leading both residential and commercial projects, working closely with the principal and design team from concept through completion. This role is ideal for a confident, design-forward professional who thrives in a nimble environment and enjoys balancing creative vision with technical execution and client leadership.

Key Role Impacts

• Manage residential and commercial design projects in collaboration with the principal and creative team
• Develop and present compelling design concepts grounded in research and planning
• Design custom furniture, millwork, and bespoke interior elements
• Lead client interactions and presentations with confidence and clarity
• Prepare specifications, generate budgets, and oversee purchasing
• Coordinate with architects, landscape architects, general contractors, consultants, artisans, and fabricators
• Conduct space planning, site surveys, and oversee project execution from start to finish

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft 365, SketchUp, and Revit
• Strong freehand drawing and sketching skills
• Excellent space planning and technical documentation abilities
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
• Social media savvy and comfort engaging with design content digitally
• Strong computer and organizational skills
