A company is looking for a Clinician Coding Liaison - Podiatry.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver proactive coding education through various formats, covering essential coding guidelines and payer requirements
Lead onboarding and compliance training for clinicians to ensure accurate documentation from the outset
Serve as the primary contact for coding inquiries and monitor work queues to ensure timely charge submissions
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or equivalent coding certification
Completion of advanced training through an accredited program or equivalent knowledge
High school diploma or GED required
Typically requires 4 years of experience in expert-level professional coding
Additional specialty credential preferred
