Generate : Biomedicines was founded in 2018 by Flagship Pioneering and has received nearly $700 million in funding providing the resources to rapidly scale the organization. The Company has offices in Somerville and Andover Massachusetts with 300 employees.

The Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced architect to lead the design development integration and maintenance of business focused hybrid technology this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services with on-premises systems applications and SaaS resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud platforms integration technologies and architecture best practices combined with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This position will be onsite in Somerville MA with a flexible hybrid schedule.

Heres how you will contribute :

• Maintain and apply in depth functional acumen surrounding modern principles tools and best practices in the areas of cloud infrastructure platforms-as-a-service identity and access management endpoint and server security networking declarative programming workload cost optimization databases secrets management CI / CD pipelines application integration and agile methodology.
• Collaborate with development teams informatics team and business stakeholders achieving architectural designs facilitating cross functional org and scientific objectives resource planning agile deployment and sequencing enabling post-integration repeatable support and evolution of solutions.
• Coordinate effective integration and deployment of emerging solutions leading design and development of extensibleintegration paths between SaaS platforms databases and legacy applications including API management and middleware solutions.
• Identify and resolve integration related issues including data inconsistencies communication failures and performance bottlenecks.
• Work closely with development teams system architects and business stakeholders to ensure integration solutions meet the organizations best fit collective outcome requirements.
• Test and validate emerging solutions and integrations to ensure they function as expected and meet performance quality and security standards.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including system architecture design specifications and integration workflows.

Compensation : The base salary range provided reflects our current estimate of what we anticipate paying for this position. Your actual base salary will be based on several factors including job-related skills experience internal equity relevant education or training and market addition you will be eligible for an annual bonus equity compensation and a competitive benefits package.
