Job Title : Mechanical Engineering Technician Medical Device

Location : Bay Area, CA (Onsite) (Oakport St, Suite 2450, Oakland, CA 94621)

Duration : 6-12+ months

Description :

Support engineering development of electro-mechanical medical devices, including design support, assembly, modification, and testing

Build, test, and troubleshoot R&D prototypes; support verification, validation, and reliability testing

Assist with transfer of development builds to manufacturing and support fixture / test development

Perform mechanical, electrical, and system-level troubleshooting; identify root cause and corrective actions

Use hand tools, precision measurement equipment, soldering, harness build, and test equipment (machine shop experience a plus)

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, tolerances, and electrical schematics

Document test results, assembly procedures, and troubleshooting guides

Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams

Associate degree (EE / ME preferred) or equivalent experience; 5 7+ years in R&D, medical devices (Class II / III preferred), GMP / FDA / ISO knowledge desirable
