[job_card.job_description]Graduate of an approved vocational nursing program Current and valid Texas LVN license BLS certification through the American Heart Association Minimum 6+ months clinical experience 4+ years in an ambulatory surgical setting (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, Wound Care, or General Surgery) Demonstrated ability to operate clinical equipment and supplies Basic computer proficiency Prior experience in a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Wound Care, or General Surgery clinic Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A calm, professional demeanor under pressure
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Clinics
Location : Houston, TX 77450 , Houston, TX 77055, Spring, TX 77389 Weekly rotation across 1-3 locations required
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (1-hour lunch break) No weekends or holidays
Dress Code : Professional scrubs (no specific color / design required)
Job Engagement : Contract to hire
About the Role : We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery team. In this role, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical setting. You'll apply clinical knowledge and sound judgment to ensure the safety, comfort, and dignity of our patients and their families.
You'll be responsible for :
- Delivering patient-centered care in accordance with legal, professional, and organizational standards
- Prioritizing and organizing care for multiple patients
- Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Utilizing clinical equipment and technology confidently and safely
