[job_card.job_description]Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Science Minimum 5 years of progressive experience on complex construction projects Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and priorities under pressure Demonstrated experience in estimating and pricing Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work on-site / in-office; this role is not remote Ability to traverse active construction sites, climb ladders or temporary stairs, conduct visual inspections, and perform regular site walks to ensure quality and safety Ability to work in environments that may include noise, vibration, outdoor weather conditions, mechanical movement, and construction-related hazards Group medical, vision and dental insurance including choice of two benefit plans – a PPO plan and a high deductible / Health Saving Account Plan with company contribution to HSA. Company-paid Short- & Long-Term Disability plans, group Life Insurance, and AD&D plans Flexible Spending Account (FSA) plans (for health care and dependent care) Untracked / Unmeasured vacation. You are immediately 100% vested in all contributions (including match). We provide both traditional (Pre-Tax) and Roth (post –tax) contribution options in our 401(k) plan. We’re also proud to be an employee-owned company. This means you get an ownership stake through a benefit called an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). It’s 100% company funded and is invested in company stock. You can participate in this long-term plan after you complete 1 year of service (with at least 1,000 hours). The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of complex construction projects from initial planning through final completion.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple projects through pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction
- Develop, update, and execute project work plans, adjusting as needed for scope or schedule changes
- Identify and allocate resources, assign responsibilities, and manage day-to-day operational activities
- Lead estimating and pricing efforts, including change orders and comprehensive cost estimates
- Review and approve project deliverables prior to client submission
- Enforce company methodologies, quality standards, and compliance protocols
- Prepare for reviews, quality assurance procedures, and maintain organized project documentation
- Develop efficient schedules and cost-effective plans for resource utilization
- Select, manage, and coordinate subcontractors and oversee their work
- Review architectural and engineering documents for adherence to plans, specs, and regulatory standards
- Oversee contracts, permits, and licenses
- Supervise Project Engineers and enforce safety and quality controls
- Identify and mitigate potential disputes, risks, or claims
- Monitor schedule adherence and project profitability; conduct regular status meetings
- Manage project accounting, budgets, and expenses
- Ensure strict compliance with budgetary, safety, and quality requirements
- Report project progress and recommended modifications to owners and architects
