Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for a High-Powered Microwave (HPM) / Radio Frequency (RF) / Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineer to support the US Army at Redstone Arsenal. This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities / Duties :

• Shall provide analysis of technical data provided by the vendor; insight into the effects of HPM on other equipment; and recommendations to the Government as the sole HPM subject matter expert on-site.
• Perform critical analysis of technical data packages, including but not limited to SRR / SFR / PDR / CDR presentations, HPM acceptance test planning / results, HPM lethality analysis, and HPM risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide recommendations on the emplacement of the HPM system to maximize lethality while limiting impact on equipment.
• Work with all stakeholders to gain approval to operate the HPM system both CONUS and OCONUS.
• Perform all-source analyses to acquire required technical specifications.
• Provide Professional Engineering Advice, guidance, and assistance in various stages of research, development, and deployment.
• Formulate / estimate technical parameters that are not available from all source analyses.
• Support the preparation of the risk assessment.
• Other duties as assigned.
