Phlebotomist

Part-Time Phlebotomist – Merced (with travel to Fresno on Wednesdays)

Hire Up Staffing is seeking experienced and certified Phlebotomists for a growing medical group in Merced. This part-time role requires availability to work full days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays , with travel to Fresno on Wednesdays to transport samples. Mileage and drive time will be compensated.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform age-specific venipuncture and capillary puncture

Process specimens for transport

Answer phones and provide clerical support for the laboratory

Ensure performance and safety standards are met

Maintain inventory and restock supplies as needed

Serve as a liaison for the laboratory and interact with physicians, nurses, and lab assistants

Pay Range : $21.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule : Part-time, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, full 8-hour shifts between 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm.

On Wednesdays, drive to Fresno to deliver samples, with paid mileage and drive time.

Requirements :

Certified Phlebotomy Technician

American Heart Association BLS Certification

Strong critical thinking and analytical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with medical terminology and computer systems
