Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Veterans Engineering is seeking experienced ER/Trauma Registered Nurses for multiple night shifts at a Level I Trauma Center. Candidates must have prior Level I Trauma experience and be proficient in Cerner EMR systems. This role involves providing care to high-acuity patients, including trauma, burns, and critical care emergencies

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in ER/Trauma units across 4 facilities: St. Joseph’s Main, St. Joseph’s Westgate, and 2 Free-Standing ERs (Litchfield Park & Glendale)
• Float between facilities as needed (midshift floats possible)
• Interpret telemetry and monitor patient conditions using Phillips monitors
• Collaborate with charge nurses, hospitalists, and midlevels
• Participate in educational and competency assessments, including lifts, restraints, and wound care

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ER experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Must be within 50 miles of St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center

Travel Requirement

Travel to client locations is required for this position and may vary based on project needs.
