Preferred : Minimum one year of perinatal experience. NRP certification within six months of hire. ACLS certification or commitment to obtain within six months of hire. Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations. Able to communicate clearly and effectively in English. Capability to stand or work for up to twelve hours a day. Position Overview :
As a Registered Nurse specializing in Postpartum and Nursing, you will provide compassionate and high-quality care to mothers and their newborns. Your role is vital in supporting patients' emotional and physical health during this crucial phase of life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver individualized obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing care.
- Assess patient needs comprehensively and create tailored care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding care, discharge plans, and post-discharge needs.
- Administer medications and treatments following strict safety protocols.
- Reassess and modify care plans based on patient responses and conditions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
