Entry-Level Assembler
Join our team as an Entry-Level Assembler, where you will perform essential assembly operations of varying complexity. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in manufacturing!
Your key responsibilities will include :
- Preparing for assembly by studying instructions and gathering necessary parts and materials.
- Positioning parts and subassemblies using templates and measurements.
- Assembling components and ensuring proper fit by fastening parts together.
- Assisting in building prototypes and other assembly projects outside of regular production as needed.
- Maintaining a safe and organized workspace by following all safety protocols.
- Utilizing resources effectively to achieve job results.
- Supporting team efforts by training others in basic assembly tasks when required.
- Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets quality standards before passing it on.
- Documenting actions through production and quality forms.
We are looking for candidates who :
Possess a High School diploma, GED, or a combination of relevant experience and skills.Ideally have 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.Are comfortable and safe using hand and power tools.Can read and interpret drawings and Bills of Material.Have basic computer literacy.Are capable of reading and following instructions in English.Physical demands of the job :
Medium - Heavy Physical Demand Level as classified by the US Dept of Labor.Lifting requirements : occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, frequently lift up to 40 pounds from floor to waist.Carrying requirements : occasionally carry up to 40 pounds up to 25 feet.Push / Pull : frequently push / pull up to 40 pounds; occasionally push / pull more than 40 pounds with assistance.Postural : continuous standing and walking, frequent bending, squatting, and frequent lifting.Fine motor skills : continuous gripping, manipulation, and tool use.What we offer you :
