Job Summary:
The General Manager leads daily operations, ensuring service, quality, team morale, and profitability are always aligned with Mico’s standards. You’ll be responsible for developing the team, leading shifts, and driving performance. You set the tone, own the culture, and operate with full accountability — while having strong support from Ownership.
What You’ll Do…
Leadership & Team Management:
- Train, coach, and onboard team members
- Lead by example in creating a positive, respectful, and productive environment
- Hold team accountable to performance, appearance, and attitude expectations
- Execute disciplinary actions, including documentation and corrective coaching
- Delegate tasks using “aces in their places” — putting the right people where they thrive
Operations & Profitability:
- Create schedule, execute daily shift plans, adjust labor in real-time, and ensure cost targets are met
- Maintain food quality and speed of service during all dayparts
- Submit food and supply orders, monitor waste, and manage inventory levels
- Keep all areas clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
- Jump into BOH or FOH tasks (cooking, cleaning, or serving) when needed
- Manage food and labor costs to meet profitability goals
- Drive revenue through guest satisfaction, upselling, and local initiatives
- Analyze sales, P&L reports, and performance metrics to make informed decisions
Guest Experience:
- Ensure every guest is greeted with warmth and served with care
- De-escalate complaints or service issues quickly and respectfully
- Set the tone for hospitality and service on every shift
- Be present during peak hours to oversee quality and service flow
- Represent the brand in the community and build local partnerships
Facility, Safety & Compliance:
- Monitor cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with health codes
- Ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained; request and track repairs
- Follow and enforce all labor laws, safety procedures, and company policies

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a General Manager or high-level Shift Manager in a fast-paced restaurant
- Proven ability to lead teams and delegate effectively
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Basic computer skills (scheduling, inventory, documentation)
- Must have or be able to obtain a Food Manager’s Certification
- Must have open availability for both day and evening shifts including weekends
