Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Section Manager performs clerical, technical and computer functions related to specimen collection and specimen processing. Performs phlebotomy procedures and transports specimens to the laboratory as needed. Maintains a safe work area that meets regulatory agency requirements. Demonstrates professional work habits and positive interpersonal skills.

What qualifications you will need:

• Phlebotomy Certification by ASCP and/or NCA highly desired
• 2 years experience in data entry and phlebotomy in a medical laboratory
• Attention to detail, ability to work with a low error rate, ability to verbally communicate effectively
• Basic phlebotomy equipment, keyboarding
