Water Wastewater Engineer

Our client, an established and respected engineering consulting firm, is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join its team in Cherry Hill, NJ. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of public infrastructure projects with a focus on water and wastewater systems, serving municipal and utility clients throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop plans for water distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment facilities.

• Perform hydraulic modeling, engineering calculations, and technical analysis.

• Prepare construction documents, reports, and cost estimates.

• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, and project coordination.

• Support project managers and senior engineers through all phases of project execution.

• Conduct field inspections and assist with construction oversight as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s is a plus).

• 5+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering.

• EIT required; PE license or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe preferred.

• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software is a plus.

• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

• Familiarity with New Jersey regulatory agencies and municipal design standards preferred.
